We do not collect data
QuantumKit does not collect, sell, or share personal information. There is no account, no login, and no QuantumKit server. Circuits run locally on the device. We do not receive your circuits, OpenQASM, histograms, or device identifiers from the app.
Saved circuits stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them with the app’s local data.
Network
Simulation does not require a network connection. The app does not phone home.
If you open an App Store, GitHub, or documentation link, that destination has its own policy. This site is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may log requests as any host does. We do not add cookies, ads, or analytics to this site.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Disclaimer
QuantumKit is a numerical simulator. Results can be wrong, incomplete, or differ from another simulator, exact arithmetic, or a physical quantum device. Metal paths use Float32 and periodic renormalization; that bounds drift, it is not exact arithmetic. Shot counts are samples, not proofs.
The software is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent allowed by law. You are responsible for checking any result before you rely on it. Do not use QuantumKit as the sole basis for safety-critical, medical, financial, or similarly consequential decisions.
To the extent allowed by law, the authors are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use QuantumKit, including wrong simulation results. The Swift package is also licensed under Apache License 2.0, which disclaims warranty and limits liability.
